A modern day Job experience.  When God called first Jonah to service, Jonah ran.  When God first called for Peter to have faith he drew his sword and later denied Christ.   In the end, they chose to exercise their faith over their understanding.

Trevor is a man who believes his choice of service to God is enough and trusts his own ability and intellect gets a rude awakening.  God calls Trevor to greater authority and service and Trevor says no.  Well...sometimes God won't take no for an answer and the second time around will be the hardest thing he ever did.
